Throughout the year, the club promotes a range of it’s own events, but also help many other associated clubs around the South West, enabling us to provide an even bigger range of activities for our members, whether it be a quiet natter night with friends, or a full on championship rally event.
At Burnham on Sea Motor Club, our summer months are spent dealing with many motorsport events which include, Wiscombe Park Hill Climb events, Wildlife Smeatharpe Stages Rally, the David Warren classic car tour, and many more events helping out other motor clubs throughout the south west. We also have social events, predominantly through the Autumn and Winter quieter months, and lots marshalling activities all year round.
However, we don’t just hibernate through the Autumn and Winter months, these are some of the busiest times. There’s social, natter and quiz nights, visits, preparing hillclimb venues, lots of organising and marshalling for classic, trials and endurance events.
At Burnham motor club, we hold events all through the year, from our classic car tour, to hill climbs, marshalling and social events.
We work closely with many other clubs around the South West, to co-promote a wide range of events, as well as a good mix of our own events. Whether you are a serious championship contender, an avid marshal or just prefer a quiet chat now and again, we’re sure you’ll settle in very well. Even if you don't compete in motorsport, you can still win trophies. We run a club championship for those who marshal on events, compete in rallies or speed events, and all round competition.
